I am registered as a clinical and educational psychologist. I provide psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as consultation for families. Services are provided personally and by appointment, in English or American Sign Language (ASL). My doctorate is in clinical psychology, with additional training in services for children and adolescents.
In addition to private practice, I have served as Chief Psychologist for the Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch of the Ministry of Education. I was a member of the Association of Psychology Leaders in Ontario Schools (APLOS), and served on the subcommittee for standardizing the identification process of learning disabilities throughout Ontario.
My earlier clinical and academic work included hospital and outpatient services at the University of Illinois Family Clinic in Chicago, Ravenswood Hospital in Chicago, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, and Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. I also taught bachelor’s-level courses at Columbia College Chicago.
I have been a member of the Ontario Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and Mensa.
I have additional training and experience in providing fair and valid services for people who are Deaf, Blind, or Deafblind. I have experience working with clients who span a wide range of cultural backgrounds, religions, orientations, gender identities, and abilities. You are encouraged to ask me about my knowledge and familiarity with your own background and individual needs.
